Overview of the Disconnect between Revolutionism and Revolutionary Rhetoric in Cameroon

The Maurice Kamto-led MRC (Cameroon Renaissance Movement---Mouvement pour la Renaissance du Cameroun) still has the mindset or mentality of a political party operating in an orderly political framework; however, it uses the rhetoric of a revolutionary movement, albeit one without the accompanying structures and ideals. This puts it in the same position as the SDF after 2002, after the SDF lost its way following developments of the 2002 legislative and municipal elections. The MRC has not fully embraced Kamerunism (Cameroonian union-nationalism). It is only recently that the MRC took the tentative step of echoing some of the goals of a "NEW CAMEROON" that has been around for decades, even though it did so without embracing its fundamental tenet--- THE DISMANTLING  OF THE FRENCH-IMPOSED SYSTEM.

 

The question then is: Does the Kamto-led MRC, like the Fru Ndi-led SDF after 2002, or like Ndam Njoya's CDU and Bello Bouba's UNDP after 1991, have the inner strength, aptitude, all-embracing clout, and self-sacrificing nature to evolve into the movement that Cameroonians of all works of life can have deep faith in, to the point of allying with it without reservations,  and to the point of putting their lives at risk for it by fully confronting the putridity of the Biya regime and the French-imposed system, so as to bring them down once and for all?

 

The answer is simple. What is also simple is the fact that the Biya regime and the system are moribund; albeit as negative perfectionists. But we have failed to be positive perfectionists in a collective manner, which is the main reason for our quagmire as those involved in a struggle to right a century of wrong on Cameroon, but who seem to be suffering from incomprehension.

Aperçu de la Déconnexion entre Révolutionnarisme et Rhétorique Révolutionnaire au Cameroun

 

Le Mouvement pour la Renaissance du Cameroun (MRC) dirigé par Maurice Kamto a toujours la mentalité ou l'état d'esprit d'un parti politique opérant dans un cadre politique ordonné; cependant, il utilise la rhétorique d'un mouvement révolutionnaire, bien que sans les structures et idéaux qui l'accompagnent. Cela le place dans la même position que le SDF après 2002, après que le SDF se soit égaré suite aux développements des élections législatives et municipales de 2002. Le MRC n'a pas pleinement embrassé le Kamérunisme (L'Union-Nationalisme Camerounais). Ce n'est que récemment que la MRC a pris les mesures provisoire de faire écho à certains des objectifs d'un «NOUVEAU CAMEROUN» qui existe depuis des décennies, même si elle l'a fait sans embrasser son principe fondamental --- LE DÉMANTÈLEMENT DU SYSTÈME IMPOSÉ PAR LA FRANCE.

 

 

La question est alors la suivante: est-ce que le MRC dirigé par Kamto, comme le SDF dirigé par Fru Ndi après 2002, ou comme la UDC de  Adamou Ndam Njoya et le UNDP de Bello Bouba Maigari après 1991, a la force intérieure, l'aptitude, l'influence englobant et la nature sacrifiante pour évoluer vers le mouvement dans lequel les Camerounais de toutes les œuvres de la vie peuvent avoir une foi profonde, au point de s'allier avec lui sans réserve, et au point de mettre leur vie en danger en affrontant pleinement la putridité du régime de Biya et du système imposé par la France,  pour les faire tomber une fois pour toutes?

 

La réponse est simple. Ce qui est également simple, c'est le fait que le régime de Biya et le système sont moribonds; bien qu'en tant que perfectionnistes négatifs. Mais nous n'avons pas réussi à être des perfectionnistes positifs d'une manière collective, ce qui est la principale raison de notre bourbier en tant que ceux qui luttent pour redresser un siècle de torts sur le Cameroun, mais qui semblent souffrir de l'incompréhension.

The comprador Biya regime and its retinue of looting mercenaries that is managing the anachronistic French-imposed system have been undermining the social cohesion and economic dynamism of Cameroon and the Cameroonian people. Though the economy is experiencing a moribund growth due to the selling off and wanton exploitation of the material resources of the land, growth that might be considered impressive by some, Cameroon is achieving less than 30% of its potential and has what it takes to experience double-digit growth (10% and above), doubling the income of the average Cameroonian at least every seven years.

Our potentially great country would be able to live up to its potential only in a “NEW CAMEROON” where the French-imposed system would have been dismantled, where the harmonious cooperation of all the land’s progressive forces would be the rule, where all the different Cameroonian groups would feel they have a stake in the glory of the land, and where the anti-Cameroonian forces that failed to embrace the altruism, social-solidarity, progress, harmony and all-embracing nature of the “NEW CAMEROON” would render themselves irrelevant as they continue to undermine their existence through their anti-people actions.
