Reply to the article "Gigantic Conspiracy Against Fru Ndi (III)"
The article "Gigantic Conspiracy Against Fru Ndi (III)" by Aloysius Tebo, the Secretary & Founding Father of the SDF reeks of of deception.
Ben Muna and Fru Ndi are two people backed by sets of people blinded by power, glory and quest for wealth. They both lacked a national vision or idea that went beyond themselves. Moreover, when the interest of the cause or the struggle cannot be distinguished from one's personal interest, we find the type of self-deception being put in front of Kamerunians today.
Nobody doubts the negativity of the Muna legacy, but only the blind and nincompoops would fail to recognize an attempt to start writing Fru Ndi's legacy. The attempt is not to make him accountable for his actions as a self-destructive leader who had the opportunity to lead one of the greatest political forces that emerged in the 1990s in Africa following the political wind of change by Gorbachev's glasnost and Perestroika, a political party in the name of the SDF party that Fru Ndi initially high-lighted but ended up ruining and giving it a bad name, all with the connivance and blessings of a twisted clique that Tebo belongs in and the glee of the evil system in power.
Muna's retarding influence in the SDF was from 1990-1995, and from 2004-2005. 1995-2002 was the period Fru Ndi led the SDF towards political suicide with the final tightening of the noose in 2002. That the party can be saved by any of the two is a ride into fairyland. Therefore, the fact that Fru Ndi, like the other so-called opposition leaders, has become a political failure and a liability to the cause for a New Cameroon that embodies freedom, progress, prosperity, unity, liberty and democracy; is not as a result of Ben Muna’s negativity, but rather the result of his fundamental character flaws.
