Kamerunists (Union-Nationalists of Cameroon) and the Basis of the "NEW CAMEROON"

Kamerunists (union-nationalists), the heirs of the historic Union of the Populations of the Cameroons (UPC) and One Kamerun (OK), who are Cameroon's civic-nationalists, denounced Foumban 1961 for failing to be inclusive and view(ed) the 1961 setup (The Cameroon Federation) as a shaky foundation that not only sidelined the majority of Cameroonians, but that also created the basis for the problems we are facing today. That is why Kamerunists have been demanding that the dismantling of the French-imposed system in Cameroon and the establishment  of a Cameroon Federation that  is  highly representative, heeds the voices of the different peoples and cultures; and that takes into account the hopes, dreams, fears, and concerns of the different entities that constitute the socio-economic and political fabric of Cameroon. Kamerunists want the new Cameroon to be built on a solid foundation with the participation of at least 50% of the Cameroonian population, or at least 80% of the population of the voting age group.

Les Kamerunists (les union-nationalistes), les héritiers de l Union des populations du Cameroun (UPC ) historique et l'One Kamerun (OK), qui sont les nationalistes-civiques Camerounais, ont dénoncé Foumban 1961 pour ne pas avoir été inclusif et ont considéré la configuration de 1961 (La Fédération du Cameroun) comme une base fragile qui non seulement  marginalisé la majorité des Camerounais, mais qui a également créé la base des problèmes auxquels nous sommes confrontés aujourd'hui. C’est la raison pour laquelle les Kamerunistes exigent le démantèlement du système imposé par la France sur le Cameroun et la création d’une Fédération Camerounaise qui est hautement représentative, qui écoute les voix des différents peuples et des différents cultures, et prends en compte les espoirs, les rêves, les peurs et les préoccupations de tous les différentes entités qui constituent le tissu socio-économique et politique du Cameroun. Les Kamérunistes souhaitent que le Cameroun Nouveau soit bâti sur une base solide avec la participation d'au moins 50% de la population camerounaise, ou d'au moins 80% de la population du groupe d'âge votant.
