It is a sacrilege for
those involved in an armed struggle or anyone for that matter to massacre
children, more so school children exercising one of their fundamental human
rights (the right to an education). The perpetrators of the Kumba Massacre on
October 24, 2020 (seven deaths and a dozen wounded), qualify as terrorists. The
army or armed group(s) they are from should denounce them, bring them to
justice, and pledge to the Cameroonian people never, "Never" to allow
their combatants to step close to a school or engage in armed activities at or
anywhere near schools.
Armed organizations
that support and fail to denounce attacks on school children, and that do not declare their adherence to
the universal conduct of war that makes schools and those involved in schooling
(students and staff) no go areas, make themselves "ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE
AND TRAITORS TO HUMANITY".
In addition, those
supporting, condoning, justifying, or excusing acts of terrorism on the people,
and more so on children who have no say in the conflict brought about by adults
misusing their future, should correct their ways and desist from their acts of
devilry.
I call on the
government of Cameroon, the Biya regime, and their foreign masters to accede to
a process that would bring the seven-decade Cameroonian quagmire to an end
through an all-inclusive and comprehensive Peace Talks that besides including
peace and reconciliation would also result in the founding of the "NEW
CAMEROON" that the overwhelming majority of Cameroonians want, a dream
upheld since the times of our ancestors and that acted as the fuel in
Cameroon's successful campaign for reunification and its so-called
independence.
Cameroon and Cameroonians cannot afford to delay putting an end to the recurring massacres and the threat of genocide that evil forces in our sacred land are determined to subject the overwhelming majority of Cameroonians who are genuine Cameroonian patriots, to.
