Feeling Triumphant despite the Defeats in the last three Phases of the Struggle for the "New Cameroon"












Yes, Cameroonians, whether as  individuals, groups or as a nation, need to  be proud of  the objectives of the three phases of the struggle to found the "New Cameroon" that brought so much pain. The general Cameroonian awakening requires us to embrace our collective history and cherish those enriching aspects of  our past , which though tragic, we nevertheless need to emulate in  order to realise the New Cameroon. That is what the Cameroon idea or Cameroon ideal is all about. That is what Cameroonian Union Nationalism  revolves around.

When Cameroonians fully acknowledge the historic steps taken by Martin-Paul Samba, Rudolf-Duala Manga-Bell, Ruben Um Nyobe, Felix Moumie, Ernest Ouandie, John Ngu Foncha, Ndeh Ntumazah, Albert Mukong etc. at the time, in sowing the seeds of Kamerunian Nationalism, then we can say that we have exposed the foundation or nucleus of  goodness in the future New Cameroon; when Cameroonians( on both sides of the River Mungo) hail  Ruben Um Nyobe, Ossende Afana, Felix Moumie, John Ngu Foncha, Albert Kingue, Albert Mukong, Ernest Ouandie etc  as the true heroes of its reunification and independence, then we shall be able to boast that we have exposed the emptiness of the evil French-imposed system and  the  usurper regimes of Ahidjo and Biya. We shall even be able to say with unwavering conviction that  hand-in-hand, we have established the framework of the New Cameroon.

When Cameroonians come to accept the  inescapable reality that the New Cameroon would be born by the active participation of  the majority in all the forces of the land, then we can say that we have realised the unstoppable force of  Cameroonian Union-Nationalism, which is what   shall  get rid of this retrogressive system (irrespective of whether it is Biya or his  heir steering it) and  institute the New Cameroon that would take its merited place  in Africa and the world as an enlightening civic nation for progressive peoples.

Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. Donald Trump and an American-led Multi-polar World

I am not someone of the right, but I do accept the fact that entrenched political establishments, especially in the West, and the puppets they direct in their vassal states, especially in Africa (Paul Biya of Cameroon for one), have lost touch with reality and are serving the elites of the world only, instead of all the citizens of their home countries. Donald Trump, despite what may be considered his idiosyncrasies, comes in with virtually a clean slate and brings in the possibility of the USA procuring its interest without dragging the rest of the world into conflict. He can help America lead a multi-polar world, instead of leading America towards a dead end as the agenda-driven establishment was pushing it towards in their impossible desire to impose a New World Order void of consensus with the other rising powers of the world (Russia, China, India, Brazil, etc.)
